Karoline Leavitt: Youngest White House Press Secretary in History

Another female has been selected by President-elect Donald Trump for his white house cabinet selection, but what makes this woman different from Tulsi Gabbard, Elise Stefanik, and Kristi Noem is that she is the youngest individual selected for White House Press Secretary in history.

This is Karoline Leavitt. Karoline Leavitt is a long-time aide and media personality. She became a well-known figure on the Trump team, as she served as national press secretary for the campaign, and she’s become the same for the Trump transition team.

Karoline also has a history of working in the first Trump white house administration when she worked as an assistant press secretary. Donald Trump spoke highly of Karoline Leavitt after he selected her for the position. He highlighted many of her great strengths that would make her qualified for the white house position.

“Karoline is smart, tough, and has proven to be a highly effective communicator,” Trump stated. “I have the utmost confidence she will excel at the podium and help deliver our message to the American people.” As mentioned before, Karoline Leavitt will be the youngest individual selected to be the White House Press Secretary, which will be the first time this has happened since Richard Nixon.

“At 27 years old, Leavitt will be the youngest person to hold the position of top White House spokesperson.” Reporter Elena Moore stated in an NPR article. “The position hasn’t been held by someone under 30 since former President Richard Nixon’s administration in 1969.”

Karoline even has a history of working at Capitol Hill. She worked as a Communications Director for New York Republican Elise Stefanik, and she even nearly came close to serving in Congress. We’ll see how Karoline’s career progresses forward.
