Wendy Williams Permanently Incapacitated: The Shocking Truth Revealed

The world was in for a shock when it was announced in 2023 that Former Media Personality Wendy Williams was diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia. When her documentary series was released on February 24, 2024, titled Where is Wendy Williams?

It sparked a controversial backlash from those closest to Wendy, who said that Wendy was taken advantage of and that they were horrified to see how Wendy was represented in the media.

Recently, Wendy’s health took a turn for the worse when it was announced by her guardian’s lawyers that Wendy Williams had officially become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated. “In new documents obtained by PEOPLE, Sabrina E. Morrissey, the former talk show host’s court-appointed guardian, claimed that Williams has become “cognitively impaired, permanently disabled and legally incapacitated.”” As stated by PEOPLE Magazine.

This devastating news comes during Sabrina Morrissey’s court battle against A&E Television Networks, Lifetime Entertainment, and other programs involved with the release of the Wendy Williams documentary.

“This case arises from the brutally calculated, deliberate actions of powerful and cravenly opportunistic media companies working together with a producer to knowingly exploit [Williams],” court documents stated. “FTD is a progressive disease, meaning that there is no cure, and the symptoms only get worse over time.”

Court documents also stated that media companies filmed the series without a valid contract and released it to the public without receiving permission from Wendy’s guardian. A&E responded by saying,

“… Williams’ manager, Will Selby, saw the Documentary and its Trailer before they aired and expressed enthusiastic support, and Williams’ family members also watched the Documentary before it aired and expressed support for its release, and even sat for press interviews in connection with its release,”
