Well, it happened. The race started, the votes were counted, the final projection was announced, and Kamala Harris lost the election. Today, America woke up to Donald Trump being elected the 47^th president of the United States. So, what happened with Kamala Harris supporters? What went wrong with the Harris campaign?

Is the answer to that question as simple as asking this question? How different was Kamala Harris’s presidency going to be from that of current president Joe Biden? This is a question that was no stranger to the Harris campaign, and on more than one occasion, Kamala was given a chance to answer this simple question. “What, if anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?”

  Co-host Sunny Hostin asked Kamala about it in a CNN article. Kamala’s response to that question was simply, “There is not a thing that comes to mind,” This would be something that even Kamala Harris would realize is an issue, and she tried to make up for it by saying she would place a Republican in her cabinet.

Kamala Harris could have done more to distance herself from Joe Biden, but that would have been at the expense of disrespecting the man who made her Vice President in the first place.  In conclusion, Kamala Harris’s role as Vice President in the Biden administration mattered more to the American people than the Harris campaign realized.

Voters linked the failures of Joe Biden to Kamala Harris, and she lost the election.
