Donald J. Trump found guilty of 34 felony counts. This is one of four cases he faces right before the 2024 election; one is a state trial, and the other two are federal. The verdict was decided by twelve jurors (seven men and five women). They collectively decided for all 34 counts that he is a guilty man.
The trial is not over yet, Trump will be sentenced on July 11th by Supreme Court Judge Juan Merchan. After the verdict was delivered, the former President went before the gathering crowd outside the courthouse and stated that he is “innocent”. Trump continued his statement alleging that Judge Merchan is “corrupt”.
The press has
also mentioned that this was an unusual and quick trial, it only took two days for the jurors to come to a verdict. Donald Trump will continue to run for President, despite the guilty verdict. Trump insists that Joe Biden is pulling out all the stops to keep him from winning the 2024 election.
